AI Visibility Assessment · Invitation only

When a customer asks ChatGPT who to call, does it say your name?

Send us your website. We ask ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity the questions your customers ask, and send you a short report: who they recommend, whether it is you, and the three fixes that matter most.

Your customers are asking AI. AI may not be naming you.

More people now ask ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity “who should I hire for this?” instead of scrolling Google. The answer is a short list. If you are not on it, you never find out that customer existed.

There is no click to count and no enquiry in your inbox. Nothing in your reports looks wrong. You can sit on page one of Google and still be missing from the list, because AI draws on different sources.

On our first test run, ChatGPT described a South African professional-services firm accurately. But it drew on LinkedIn eight times and on the firm’s own website zero times. Accurate is good. Being found only through someone else’s page is a risk.

What we check

Three checks, one honest picture

01

We ask the way a customer asks

Three questions across ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity: the broad one (“best [your service] in [your area]”), the buying one (“who should I hire for [your service]”), and the direct one (“what is [your business]”).

02

We check what AI can see on your site

Whether AI tools are allowed to read your website at all, and whether it tells them clearly who you are and what you do. A site that blocks AI is one of the first things worth ruling out.

03

We show you who gets recommended instead

The competitors AI names, and who shows in the local map results, so you know who you are being measured against.

Your report

A short report you can act on, not a 40-page PDF

Four parts, in this order. Open each one to see what it looks like. The business below is fictional.

1Are you showing up?

The report opens with what you told us next to what we measured. This is the part people remember.

Sample report, fictional businessYou told us: “We might come up, I’m not sure.”
We found: you were named in 2 of 9 AI checks, and both were when we asked about you by name.

2Who gets recommended instead

The names AI gives your customers, and who appears in the local map results, with their review counts.

Sample report, fictional businessFor “plumber in Centurion”: Company A, Company B, Company C.
In the local map results, 3 firms appear. You are not one of them. Company A has 112 reviews, Company B has 87.
3What is helping, and what is hurting

Plain language, no jargon, ending in one line that names the real problem.

Sample report, fictional businessHelping: your site is fast and secure, and it does not block AI tools from reading it.
Hurting: few other websites mention you, and you are missing from the Google map results.
What this means: AI does not yet see enough outside proof of you. Fixing your own site alone will not change that.
4Three fixes, ranked

Easiest and highest impact first, each tied to what we found about you.

Sample report, fictional business1. Claim and complete your Google Business Profile.
2. Get listed where AI is already looking for plumbers.
3. Rewrite your service pages so AI can tell what you do in one read.

How it works

01

Fill in the form

A few questions and your website address. We work out the rest from your site. Enter the code from your invitation.

02

We run the checks

Live questions to the AI engines, plus a look at how your site presents itself to AI tools.

03

The report lands in your inbox

Within 3 business days. If the findings point to something worth acting on, there is a 20-minute call to decide what to do about it, including fixing it yourself or doing nothing. It is a decision, not a pitch.

What this cannot tell you

This is a dated snapshot of nine customer questions, not a score for your whole market. AI answers vary with wording, location and the day, so we record exactly what we asked and when. It is also an outside view: without access to your analytics we cannot show how much AI traffic you actually receive. That is the honest reason a conversation might be worth having afterwards, and the only reason.

This is for you if

  • You run a South African business with a website.
  • Customers find you through search or word of mouth, and you wonder whether AI is changing that.
  • You would rather know than guess.

Not for: businesses without a website, or anyone looking for a guaranteed ranking. Nobody can honestly promise that.
